The Boetger Home is designed to fit the needs of a young family seeking a modern residence in an established historic neighborhood.  The design maximizes views toward the Holston River and utilizes various sustainable design strategies to push the home toward a Net-Zero result.  The current electrical consumption of the home is 53% less than a home of similar size.  And water consumption is 56% less.  With the addition of solar panels to be installed in the future, this home will achieve net zero energy consumption.
